![]() ![]() I fitted OME rear coil springs to my Gen 1 around 100 000 km ago. My dad had to have his replaced for the last mot at 60k May I ask which HD rear coil springs you went for? Yeah as Mick says it's not common for these springs to break, I have HD springs on mine & it's a pretty hard ride but does handle better round corners. Iv had my truck over 5 years never had a spring break yet Posted: Sat 18:08 Post subject: Google Ads keep the POCUK free to join! Is this common on V78's? I don't know what the previous owner used the truck for but it has a tow-bar fitted.Ĭhanging them looks easy enough, but should I go for heavier duty ones or will that harsh the ride up no end? Should I inspect/change anything else during the spring change like bushes or shocks? A year earlier, I needed to replace the drivers side rear coil spring for the same reason. During the MOT last December, I needed to have the passenger side rear coil spring replaced due to it being broken. I only use mine on-road and so the ride is usually smooth apart from pot-holes, drain covers and speed humps. ![]() ![]() Posted: Sat 18:08 Post subject: Shogun V78 LWB 3.2DID - Rear Coil Springs > Wheels, tyres, suspension, brakes and steering The Mitsubishi Pajero Owners Club® Forum Index Shogun V78 LWB 3.2DID - Rear Coil Springs POCUK FaceBook Group POCUK Home POCUK Forums Calendar Profile Log in to check your personal messages Log in The POCUK - it's not just a Club, it's a way of life!įAQ Search Watched Topics Memberlist Usergroups Register We would like to inform all owners of related Outlander Sport and Pajero Sport in this recall campaign and invite you to take your vehicles to MMV‘s authorized dealers for implementing this service-job free of charge. The Mitsubishi Pajero, Shogun, Montero, Challenger, Raider and EVO 4x4 Owner's Club The necessary time for replacement of tail gate gas spring is 30 minutes for Outlander Sport and 36 minutes for Pajero Sport. If this outer tube of the gas spring stays corrosion, the broken end cap may hit the customer and/or the tailgate may fall down suddenly, potentially causing injury. The reason of recall is that since insufficient anti-corrosion coating may be applied to end cap on outer tube of tailgate gas spring, it is possible for outer tube to corrode over time. The rear shock absorber system caused Mitsubishi to recall two models this time. (MMV) will carry out the recall campaign of replacing tail gate gas spring for Outlander Sport vehicles which have been produced the period from 2014 to 2016 and Pajero Sport vehicles which have been produced in the period from 2011 to 2016 at MMV’s authorized dealers nationwide, starting from 1st August.
